Don't forget about the Tax Holiday (only in certain states)

I just wanted to remind you that the Tax Holiday time has arrived. This is a time when certain states throughout the US offer tax free shopping on school supplies. Many of the dates have passed already, but the "holiday" in some states is just coming up. Check out the details:

If you have kids headed back to school soon you'll want to hear this! The annual 2011 Tax Holiday is coming up and that means you can save on your kid's Back-to-School clothing, footwear, computers, office supplies, books, and consumer goods.

The following states are participating:
Alabama
Connecticut
Florida
Iowa
Louisiana
Maryland
Mississippi
Missouri
New Mexico
Oklahoma
South Carolina
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia

Each state has different specifics. Head over to Coupon Divas blog for a full list of what is tax free in each state, when they will be "celebrating" and for links to each state's tax free shopping page for more details.

If your state isn't participating but you are vacation in a state that it is considering doing your shopping while you are there.

Thanks Coupon Divas!
