Did You Know Dollar Tree® Takes Coupons?

Did you know that Dollar Tree® know takes manufacturer's coupons. I think it started a little before Labor Day. When I went to my local Dollar Tree the cashier had only processed two other coupons! The fact that they take coupons is pretty awesome. Now we can score things there for extremely cheap if not next to free.

The one thing I got was Colgate toothpaste. I didn't have the best coupon (it was only 35 cents off) which allowed me to get the coupon for .65. Some may have done better with a better coupon but I wasn't complaining. I plan on hitting up many Dollar Trees® in the coming months to build a stockpile for my donations.

While everything in the store isn't a name brand, here's what I did see that I plan on keeping an eye out for coupons:

  • Post™ cereal
  • Lady's Speedstick®
  • Libby's® canned goods
  • Duncan Hines® (small boxes)
  • AquaFresh® toothpaste
  • Colgate® toothpaste
  • Crest® toothpaste
Before heading into the store, make sure you view their coupon policy. From what I understand there have been some blurps with store employees with interpretation. Some managers will only allow one coupon of the same item per day while others will do separate transactions to accommodate you. Try to be kind while they get use to this!

If you are curious about what others have found at the Dollar Tree®, head over to Cindy's blog, Living Rich With Coupons, for coupon match-ups for 9/7. Thanks to Cindy for her awesome blog and post on match-ups!

What have you seen during your shopping trips to Dollar Tree®? What coupons should we carry with us? Please share with the rest of us!
