I went there last week fully armed with my coupon binder that I was sure was going to save me bundles of money. After all, I was buying groceries, fall clothes for myself and my son, a bunch of health and beauty aides and a toddler potty! That pretty much amounted to a shopping cart full of things. I had to have tons of coupons right? Wrong! Everything was either expired or didn't fit the criteria. I was frustrated so in a last attempted to save some bucks, I whipped out my Target® Red Credit Card which did manage to save about $9 since they give you 5% back on all purchases (a great savings so as long as you pay off your bill every month. I do and I highly recommended it!) I was still steamin' though.
So I came home and searched frantically for coupons that were appropriate for my purchases. Why would I do that since my shopping trip was already over? Well, one little secret my friends - they do price adjustments! So, here's what I found:
- $5 off $25 of apparel (received in the mail because I am a Target® Red Card holder - another perk!)
- $5 off $15 of beauty supplies (also received in the mail)
- $3 off two bags of Pampers® diapers
- $1 off two Pantene® hairstyling products
- $2 off CorverGirl®
