Social Media Mom Mixer Holiday Event Review

I had the privilege of going to the Social Media Mom Mixer 2012 presented by Colleen Padilla, founder of Classy Mommy and Whitney Wingerd of Mommies with Style.

Being that it was going to be in Center City Philadelphia I knew the location was going to wow me and boy did it ever. It was held at the top floor of the XIX restaurant of the Hyatt Bellevue. It was bright and cheerful and provided a glimpse of the historic city. Not to mention it was decorated classy! (I wasn't really crazy about the parking but it was in the city after all).

I enjoyed meeting other moms from the Philly Social Media Moms group and many of the brands that were that.

Hasbro® toys was the main sponsor of the event and they made it known. They had a quick ass display of toys that caught the attention of the kids (and dads!) on hand. I was lucky enough to be one of three people that won their grand prize giveaway! Four awesome toys showed up in a very large box as my home. I'll be reviewing them sometime soon. More on that later.

A representative from Tommy Hilfiger® was also there showcasing their boys line that is available through Macy's. The display was set up with a winter cabin feel that made me want to grab by furry boats and thick sweater and sit down with some hot chocolate by the fire in a log cabin. I loved the product! The red t-shirts provided are good quality. I can easily see my toddler wearing this brand. Sold!

Barely There® was there too giving attendees a well needed bra fitting. There were even kind enough to give me one of their bras and two pair of underwear. I was already a fan of their comfortable underwear. I'll let you know how their bras fare after I can a chance to wear it for a while.

One of my absolute favorite products on hand was Little Passports®. They provide subscriptions for as low as $10.95 a month that will help your child learn about a new destination. Love my silly picture at their booth? You have to be able to laugh at yourself from time to time! Someday when my toddler gets old enough we're getting this for sure!

Thanks to the other sponsors that weren't on hand but provided goodies for reviews. Some of my favorites were a cute kids t-shirt from Evy of California, Lip & Liner from Pixi by Petra, and a granola bar by Kind® Plus. You can look forward to some giveaways soon!
