Laugh Out Loud Plush Elmo Giveaway
Thanks to Hasbro for providing this to me for a giant prize giveaway that I won at the Social Media Mom's Mixer in Philadelphia last month.
I LOVE heading to the stores the day after Christmas to stock up on wrapping paper and decorations on clearance!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Lauryn! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI do what Lauryn does too but to give a different answer, I'm not a Black Friday shopper but I found that a lot of the stores also have some of their black friday sales online. I love Old Navy's deal on their fleece shirts every year. I got one for each of the boys
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie. Cute blog! I 'liked' you on Facebook. Looking forward to checking it out more.
ReplyDeleteDenise @ Couponing 4 a Difference
The best advice I have is that the sales the week before Christmas will be almost as good as the black Friday sales. November, at least in my area, has been a huge disappointment for retailers, myself included, so we are going to use discounts the week before Christmas in a desperate move to salvage what is looking to be an anemic Christmas season. I expect this will be the case nationwide.
ReplyDeleteWell, I like all things food. 10 packages of Kettle chips for 1.50 each on Amazon. YUM!
ReplyDeleteAfter Christmas the gift sets and candy are always on sale. I always pick up some hot sauce.
ReplyDeleteI buy throughout the year so it isn't such a shock to our budget.
ReplyDeleteI always buy wrapping paper, bows and boxes on Dec 26th :)
ReplyDeleteI coupon throughout the year for food items, and then make themed baskets for gifts at my bunco party.
ReplyDeleteI always like the B1G1 free deals. Especially when I can match it with a coupon. I do this throughout the year and have a drawer in my house I put goodies to use for small gifts to friends and family throughout the year.
ReplyDeleteI just got Dreyers ice cream for $2.50 each!! That's an awesome stock up price...Especially for flavors like Egg Nog and Peppermint Stick. =)

scored tabasco for 18 cents a bottle to put in spicy food basket I'm making for my dad & brother in law.
ReplyDeleteSo cool that you got to go to the mixer! My fav deal this year so far was my FREE TURKEY! My local grocery store was offering turkeys for $.88/lb wyb $10 in groceries. I had a catalina for $10 off wyb $30, I also had some free product coupons, plus I just got a turkey that was about $8, I paid about $8 for $30+ in groceries!!
ReplyDeletei go out to wal mart the day after christmas for the gift sets that are half price
ReplyDeleteI think buying right after a Holiday for the following year is the best way to save money. Especially on big items.
ReplyDeletei love the bogo deals
ReplyDeleteThe best deal I got was at Khol's: They picked up the whole receipt!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the after Christmas deals as well.
