Hey! Save the date! My favorite freebie of the year is coming Friday, May 10, 2013! It's National Public Gardens Day, a day when you can get into participating gardens around the country for free!
Presented annually by the non-profit American Public Gardens Association (APGA) along with Rain Bird in an effort to raise awareness in our country about the importance of gardens on our environment.
Last year my hubby, little man, Dante, and I took time to smell the flowers at Tyler Arboretum in Media, PA. They have 650-acres and 20 hiking trials not to mention the world's cutest tree houses. If you make a little voyage there make sure you pack a picnic lunch as they do not have sell food there. Just as well! It gave us the opportunity to have a relaxing lunch among nature. Make sure you wear comfy shoes because you'll do a lot of walking.
Take a little peak at our fun excursion:
A fun tree house
Blooming Rhododendrons
Chasing Froggies!
Relaxing with Dante
